WHAT IS NPT? NPT stands for National Pipe Thread, a US standard for tapered threads with a 60-degree thread angle and a 1.79-degree taper. It's important to note that NPT threads are not compatible with metric or PG threads, so be mindful of the thread type when making your selection.
