The Ultratite-Type NM 1/2-Inch Non-Metallic Liquid tight Flexible Conduit, also known as the Liquid tight Flexible Nonmetallic Conduit, is a versatile and durable product that is UL/CSA listed and designed to provide excellent protection for electrical conductors. This conduit is manufactured with a spiral of rigid PVC reinforcement imbedded within a flexible PVC wall, making it resistant to oil, sunlight, and crushing.

The temperature rating of the Ultratite-Type NM conduit ranges from -30-Degree C to 80-Degree C, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. It is ideal for the installation and protection of electrical conductors in circuits of 600-Volt nominal or less, including motor circuits, conductors of motor feeders, branch and control circuits, and applications requiring movement, crossover connections, or tight bends.

This conduit is approved for use in various applications, such as direct burial, encasement in concrete, flexible connections to swimming pool, spa, and hot tub motors, electric signs and outline lighting supply and secondary-circuit conductors, and flexible connections within hazardous locations in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

The Ultratite-Type NM conduit is also suitable for use in floating building feeders and services, boatyards and marinas, cranes and hoists, and elevator, dumbwaiter, escalator, moving walk, wheelchair lift, and stairway chair lift applications where expressly permitted by the NEC. It can be used for the containment of 600-Volt and lower potential circuits and is approved for use in lengths longer than 6-Feet per NEC 356.105.
